What is a Fat Quarter?

 A fat quarter (FQ) is a measurement of fabric derived from cutting a yard of fabric into four equal pieces.  Our fat quarters measure 50cm x 55cm including the selvedge. 

Occasionally some fabrics may vary in width but this would be shown in the description of the fabric.

If I order more than one FQ of the same fabric will it be sent as one piece?

If you order than more than one FQ of the fabric this will automatically be sent as one continuous piece of fabric.  If it cannot be sent as a continuous piece you would be notified before your order was dispatched to give you an opportunity to cancel the item if required.

Can I return an item?

If you have bought something that you decide that you no longer require and it is within 7 days of purchase, please return the goods in their original condition to us and we will refund back to you the costs of the goods less and postage and packaging charge. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items, and safe delivery, we therefore advise a tracked postage service.

If the goods purchased are faulty or defective in any way then you have the choice, we will either replace them or will refund you. We reserve the right to request the goods are returned to us and in this case we will cover your return postage.

Please note we are unable to accept returns of fabric that have been cut, marked or washed.

Should I wash my fabric before I use it?

We would recommend washing your fabric at 30 degrees using a mild detergent, this will help prevent shrinkage or possible running of colours.

When will I receive my order?

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 working day of receiving cleared funds. We post using either 1st Class or 2nd Class by Royal, according to the option you chose at the Checkout.
